SEND Information Advice & Guidance

SENDIAGS stands for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information Advice and Guidance Service (they can also be known as SENDIASS). Most boroughs have at least one free, impartial, and confidential service offering information to young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and to their parents and carers.

SENDIASS can support children, young people and their families on a range of issues including: school exclusions; EHC Needs Assessments; supporting conversations with a school or local authority; representation at SEND tribunals.
